Argentine authorities conducted a series of operations and in the last few hours, Luis Daniel Palavecino, a member of the narcocriminal organization 'Los Menores', was detained. The arrest took place on Saturday in the San Lorenzo department of Santa Fe province. The operation was carried out by the Intelligence and Special Operations Center (Ciope) with the support of the Special Operations Troop. According to the Argentine News Agency, the accused was found at a birthday celebration in a weekend house, leading to an urgent raid. Authorities indicate that Palavecino is linked to the 'Los Menores' gang, dedicated to drug trafficking and associated with multiple acts of armed violence. After his capture, Esteban Santantino, Secretary of Analysis and Information Management, stated that it was a high-impact detention: 'He is one of the 15 high-profile fugitives we have captured in the province since the beginning of this administration, and it is the ninth case achieved through the rewards system.' In the last few hours, Darío Oscar M., better known as Cheche, was also captured. He is accused of various incidents in the city of Cañada de Gómez, including threats, abuse of weapons, and illegal possession of a firearm.
